The questions

The questions people ask at two in the morning.

Some questions come up so often they have their own page here. They are the ones people type when a task has been sitting untouched for a week and they are trying to work out what is wrong with them. The answer is usually that nothing is wrong with them, and that something specific is happening instead.

Every answer below is plain language first, with the research where it earns its place. Each one is honest about what it does not know, including where a term is a community word rather than a clinical one, and where the right next step is a qualified professional rather than an app. None of them will tell you to try harder.

If none of those is quite it

There is more, in a few other shapes.

Questions about the app itself, what it costs and how your data is handled, live in the FAQ. Short definitions for the vocabulary, from task initiation to time blindness, are in the glossary. And if you want the long version of the mechanism underneath all of these, the piece on ADHD and task initiation is where the argument is made properly.

These pages are educational, not medical advice. Freezing this way does not by itself mean you have ADHD, and only a qualified clinician can tell you what is causing it. CHADD and ADDA are sensible places to start looking for one.
